This highly detailed model of a soft drink can is textured with a fictional brand, removing any worries about licencing or trademarks. Soda pop cans have become a uibiqutous feature of the modern landscape, and have come to symbolize aspects of consumerism, recycling, and industry. They are also a lifestyle product, conveying a sense of energy and excitement. Different regions of America use different terms to refer to the contents of the cans, and the lingistic division between soda and pop is one of the major distinctions between dialects of American English.

In use since 2005, the Thor(TM) brand has been a fictional product, expressly designed to avoid the legal complications that arise when using real-world trademarked products. The Thor Brand Soft Drink Can(TM) can be used in any situation with no additional licencing beyond purchase of this model and its associated files, as long as you do not misrepresent the origin of the brand. This is the perfect solution for your project.

The models have been fully tested and rendered in Lightwave 8.5, 9.6, and 10, as well as 3DS Max 2010 and 2011. Each of these versions has its own tweaked and tested version of the shaders. Additional versions have been exported and test-imported in the OBJ, 3DS, FBX, and Collada formats, though some shading information may need to be recreated.

Closed Can: 1264 Subd-Polys, 1221 Points (All Quads or Tris)
Open Can: 1264 Subd-Polys, 1221 Points (All Quads or Tris)
Crushed Can: 1680 Subd-Polys, 1665 Points (All Quads or Tris)
