| 100% patch/spline modeled scaffold couplings in drop-forged design. Two models supplied - one of a right-angle clamp and one of a swivel clamp. All parts articulated and UV mapped. Threads are displacement-mapped, texture included and a displacement-approx modifier applied for use with the Scanline renderer. All other materials are procedural. Patch modeling allows extremely accurate smooth surfaces but with low mesh density and variable poly counts, so is ideal where some objects are in the distance and others are in close-up. Standard steel scaffold tube can be modeled using a cylinder of diameter 48.3mm, or a tube with wall thickness of 4mm (radii of 24.15mm and 22.15mm). |
