Life is neither matter nor energy, rather the combination of the two. so apart and above matter and energy there is life: a very structured and intricate symphony of matter and energy; and in defiance to the very laws of science (entropy for example) life continues to perpetuate itself in harmony and balance. though there is more, more so than matter and energy or even the intracate living symphonies of creation called life, there is Consciousness, the abilty to percieve and understand and communicate and share thoughts and emotions and to 'in GOD'S image' create as well. thus you are more than alive, you are also conscious, enabling you to behold GOD'S wonders of creation and give praise unto the CREATOR. Understanding is a journey that may as well bring one closer to GOD.
