You can download also *.3ds version of this model. Use it if you have a deep water scene. If you want to do fantastic deep sea animations with this model, you can add just a spot light infront of this ship, then rotate the spot to the ground. After that in the modify menu of spot light you will see Atmospheres&Effects in 3d's Max. Add 'Volume Light' than set the multiplier '0,2' in intensity/color/attenuation panel in modify menu. Now ready! Just press F9 & Render you will see very reallistic deep sea ship. Have a good time..
