updated: 2008-03-31 =============================================================== features: Low Polycount; Walk-throughable; Bridge Interior; Properly Named; No smoothing-group problem for all 3d applications;different(native) 3d formats provided =============================================================== Ship Fact: Radiance of The Seas (Royal Caribbean International) length 293 meters, width 32 meters . tonnage 90090 tons Model Fact: ship model polycount:129805 Triangle count: 284379 ship model vertex count:178981 (before seam split) 290193 (after seam split) above number don't count the decoration chairs&tables' group Chairs&tables is one seperate obj file downloadable in the ACCOMPANYING PRODUCT FILES section. =============================================================== Model: The model looks very much like the real ship(google it if you don't believe), but does not 100% resemble all the real ship parts. The interior of the bridge is incorporated into the ship and staircases are added where they should so a complete deck walkthrough is possible from inside of bow bridge to the deck of the stern. ============================================================== Material and Rendering: There is no multi_material used in the model for better compatibility with all 3d application. Seawater(just a big plane) and HDRI cloud used in the renders are not included in the package =============================================================== Naming & SmoothingGroup: models are all properly named like (center chairs 1,2,3...) (aft_pool_parts1,2,3...) By combining with 'select by material' you can select any parts quickly in any 3d application. All objects are edge-splitted based on smoothing group assignment. So even if some applications don't treat smoothinggroup nicely can handle this model. You can weld the vertex back if you like. ================================================================ Contact support should you have questions.
