A LOT OF WORK creating this character, this animal, this creature, this dinosaur, this alien, this beast, this monster!
Finally, I was able to convert my Ultimate Raptor into OBJ format!!! That means that many artists can now use my model and not only the 3ds max ones.
This is the 'copy' of the Jurassic Park III raptor. It can now be imported into numerous software like your own. The main skin map is 20 MB and over 8000 px to ensure quality, but it can easily be optimized or resized for games or something.
The model has already the mapping coordinates on it. You just need to apply the included textures to the dinosuar body and to the eyes, eye-lids, tongue and crests. Don´t worry, the names of the body parts are in the map´s names, so you don´t need to guess. Yes, because the OBJ format doesn´t save everything, but once you apply the textures it will be like magic, because the coordinates are saved.
Although my original max model looks perfect, it is likely that the exported OBJ model shows some unsmoothed faces when imported to your sofware. It happened to me and that is normal. Simply apply smoothness to the mesh and it will be ok (in max I only had to select the first smoothing group).
You should also use the included skin bump map and the eye reflexion map and apply a little bumpness and also a bit of shine to the raptor. I can´t explain everything...
I´m sorry for not being rigged, as I could not save that in the OBJ, but I believe this is a fine model even so.
You are a lucky man! Enjoy.
