| A contemporary all metal type Shower Set with Shower Screen. --- Shower and Fittings --- The shower is a SDS Model i.e. The mesh is made of polygons ready for SDS smoothing. This provides maximal flexibility with minimal polygon counts. Set the sub-division level in your application e.g. in max apply a modifier such as turbosmooth. Then apply a chrome material to the whole mesh. Basic chrome material is included with the .lxo version. The model is supplied with a couple of variations to give further choice in terms of level of detail: (Note 'quad' refers to the fact the the geometry contains 100% quad vertex polygons) - Shower head come in 3 veriations: 1. all quad polys low polygon (114 polys) 2. all quad polys with detail (1579 polys 3. n-gon version with same detail as no.2 (1411 polys) - Hose comes in two variations: 1. low poly smooth hose (quads - 480 polys) 2. high polygon with links - for close-ups (quads - 19788 polys). The rest of the geometry is all quads and thus you can have an all quad version that sub-divides very well should you decide to freeze/bake the sub-division in to the geometry. The polygon count for the Complete Shower Set (excluding the screen) starts from just 3550 polygons. In most situations the links in a shower hose will never be seen so its best to use the smooth (low polygon) hose. --- Shower Screen --- This is a polygon model. The seal at the bottom maybe be sub-divided or removed. Polygon count is 546 with seal and 226 without. Tip: You may add extra highlight detail by using bevel/chamfer around the edge of the glass. Notes. 1. The OBJ version doesn not include the n-gon version of the shower head. 2. The wall texture is not included. |
