Mars Science Laboratory MSL Curiosity Rover

Very clean 3D model of the MSL Rover composed primarily of quad polys. Some parts are lofted and extruded shapes.

The previews with the landscape were produced in Octane Render and others with the scanline render. I have included the Octane version of the model in case you have Octane (a great product). If you like you can easily switch materials on the various parts to more closely match those on the real rover. There is also a Max version of the model with standard materials (when it loads you may get a warning about Octane not being installed but you can ignore it -- some unused Octane materials are in the material editor and are not needed for the scanline render).

I haven't had time lately, but at some point soon I plan to add a bit more detail, convert the lofts to quad objects, submit it for Checkmate and more than double the price. You can get it now for this very reasonable price given how much time it would take to model from scratch.

The landscape and detailed rocks are included with the model. The poly count listed for this asset is for just the rover (not the landscape or rocks).
