This jade canine model can be used as a stylized decorative sculpture, or maybe as an artifact from an ancient culture. The jade texture is realistic, so it can fit in well even in composited scenes (see the example above).

The model was made in Blender 2.49b, and is shown at Subsurf Level 3 in all of the images. The Subsurf modifier has not been applied to the .blend model, so you may raise and lower the level as you see fit. The jade texture was made completely in Blender and does not require any image maps. The example images under 'Subsurf' show how the model's wireframe appears with the Subsurf modifier. The images under 'Wireframe' show it without the modifier's simplified polygons. The high poly .obj version will look similar to the 'Wireframe' images.

The .obj file download actually includes four files: a JadeCanineHighPoly.obj and .mtl and a JadeCanineLowPoly.obj and .mtl. The high poly version comes from the .blend version at Subsurf Level 3, so has 15616 polygons and 15618 vertices. The low poly version comes from the model with no Subsurf level, so you will need to subdivide it to make it as rounded as in the preview images. It has 244 polygons and 246 vertices. Both versions will also need to be smoothed. Also, the .obj versions do NOT have the jade texture because it uses Blender textures. Instead, the .obj models will simply come in as a dull blue-green color.
