Description
The maya scene file is from maya v6, has partial polygons and partial nurbs construction. All surfaces are textured using photographs with a technique called photo-based modeling making this a very good tutorial for blending film and 3D effects together. All animation was done with keyframes and softbody dynamics. The main action is a monster walking down the hallway with a very irregular nervous gait. The monster is made of misplaced human bones and various medical equipment. All textures and shaders are included making this a fully fast rendering scene directly after opening it. The camera here is locked down so you can render the 3D in black and white, then use those values to composite in the film background thereby making your own lighting for a filmed plate.
