A highly accurate 3D model of an Apple iPad portable tablet computer modeled to exact scale, specifications, and photographs. This particular model is more accurate than other ones found on throughout the web. If you look closely at the actual photographs of the Apple iPad, for example, you can compare the 3 speakers on the bottom of this model compared to another iPad model released here that appears to have incorrect VGA-type of ports inserted into them. The other things to note about the other iPad models are incorrect indentations/positions of various buttons as well as materials that don’t match properly. While many photos appear to show the iPad with a white glossy plastic bottom due to reflections, the bottom is in fact aluminum.

I have included the front glass plate which is separate from the actual LCD, to help mimic real-world conditions.

This model is highly optimized for rendering.

Included with this file are 7 accurate screenshots of the iPad interface which you can select from.

This model is rendered with 3dsmax and Vray 1.5 SP4. Also included are the scene setup, textures, and materials.

I have also provided alternative versions (for convenience) of this model in other formats that are available for download, however those models are compromised of default and standard materials and do not include the rendering setup. All textures are included. The export quality and polygon count of those other formats cannot be guaranteed. You will most likely need to retexture those additional formats yourself.
