225 Highly detailed, fully textured, Photorealistic books to fill up your bookshelves and populate your scenes.
There are 175 unique Paperbacks, mostly novels and reference books, and 50 unique Hardbacks. All of the books are suitable for close up rendering.
The books have been modelled in Maya 2012 with the primary intention of being rendered with V-Ray for Maya or 3ds Max. I have also provided versions compatible with Mental Ray for Maya, Maya Software Renderer, 3ds Max with V-Ray, as well as the 3ds Max scanline renderer and Cinema 4D Scanline Renderer. There are also .fbx and .obj files for use with compatible software.
The .fbx files are texture mapped and includes basic materials and the .obj files come with .mtl files to specify materials and mapping. For use with software other than Maya or 3ds Max, some manual texture re-mapping may be required - this is a very quick and simple process - instructions for this are included.
The main scene (provided in .ma, .max, .c4d, .fbx and .obj formats) has all of the books already laid out as if they are resting on shelves and are ready for you to place directly onto your own bookshelf models with no extra work. All of the books have been created to real-world scale, are clearly named, UV unwrapped and have materials with textures attached.
I have included a bonus scene (also provided in .ma, .max, .c4d, .fbx and .obj formats) in which all of the books are set out standing upright in ten easy to select rows. Each row is grouped and shares a single material for easy selection, movement and distribution and arrangement within your own scenes.
The 3ds Max VRay scenes are lit with an hdri map (included) and an additional bonus pre-lit Maya studio scene (the one used to produce the above 'Signature image') is also provided.
There are ten highly detailed 4K diffuse textures that cover all 225 books, as well as ten 2k reflection maps and ten 2k bump maps, that are pre-mapped with relative paths to all materials. I have also included lower resolution versions of all textures for added flexibility.
