The martini glass is modeled after the huge 4oz. glass that are popular in many a 'style' bar/dance club. It's affect in your scene can be enhanced by linking its own spotlight above it. Try and adjust its specular and ambient color to give it the affect of recieving light that are not in the scene (ie. green specular level at 30% would have the apperance of an off camera neon sign).
