|Nicely done, but PLEASE check your 3ds exporter. When I opened in in my ap (Lightwave), a number of items were not where they were supposed to be. (Cabinets outside the kitchen area, parts of the cieling fan shifted in position...)|
3ds max (2010) - Materials have been created from Mental ray's Arch & Design and Car Paint. Bump maps are applied to the floor tiles to simulate natural reflection. A diffuse (marble) map is used for the counter top.The model is set up to for the Mental ray engine (See thumbs marked as such).
3ds - All texture maps are included and UV parameters set. A half circular object is placed outside so that a correct background -- in this case a park scene -- can be seen at any angle from inside. Cabinets have been merged to avoid previous location problems.
3ds max (2) - All texture maps are included. Materials include raytraced reflection/refraction, bump maps for the floor tiles and a (marble) material for the counter top.
