Key-frame animated model of a generic Nokia-type cellular phone.

The phone separates itself into numerous (95 altogether) parts, then gets back together in another form.

This setup is useful for creation of lots of different animation effects for various purposes: creation of logo for example.

All elements are separately key-frame animated, so you can easily modify any of the movements.

If you add your own item (e.g.another phone, credit card, etc.) that appears in the end, you will easily create a magic-transformation video.

This specific setup was optimized for transformation into a credit card.

All elements are easily adjustable. You can easily speed-up, slow-down, delete, reposition any of the elements to create your own animation.

You can apply your own texture of choice to the display.

Technical description:

The scene was originally created in MAX9.

All elements were created in NURBS and collapsed to editable mesh with secondary edges hidden.

Viewport wire previews were captured in MAX9.

The scene was optimized for HD renders - very finely detailed.

All previews were rendered in MAX9, FinalRender Stage-1 renderer and materials.

Asset includes 2 MAX9 render setups:
MAX9. FinalRender renderer (requires FinalRender Plugin)
MAX9.Scanline renderer and Raytrace materials (Native MAX renderer)


All objects are clearly named, parented, grouped.
Scene includes 95 meshes.

All materials are optimized and clearly named.
Scene includes 7 materials.
It is very easy to adjust or modify.

MAX scene is ready to render as seen in previews.

Scene also includes OBJ static version in the initial 'regular phone' state.

OBJ version is not animated and it's render results will depend on specific software and render engine.
