379 curves for all the Hair Systems.
The hair , the brows and the eyelashes were created using the 'Maya Hair'; the eyelashes and brows are set with static simulation , the hair are set with dynamic simulation . In the download a FBX file format with all the curves is included , that can be used in other application to render the hair.
To render the Maya file in Mental Ray you will need to press the '3' button on the keyboard for the Smooth Mesh Preview.
The Maya file includes a lighting setup that uses two HDR images that have been downloaded for free at Smart IBL website ( the use of them is allowed only if it is mentioned where they have been taken from).
In order to get the correct illumination in the Maya file inside the Mental Ray Common settings the Enable Color Management' is turn on.
A MentalRay SSS Fast Skin Maya material is applied to the body mesh. A light map texture is already linked to the light map node of this material and it is included in the download.
