His armor is made out of over 80 different parts which are mapped in a unique way that allowed me to use 1 material for all of them and still keep an extreme level of detail.
I've also included a 'clean' material which you can assign to each armor part you wish instead of having it 'battle worn' (demonstrated in several preview images here).
I've attached all the lights to a rotating dummy to demonstrate that the materials work well in many different lighting conditions (the preview pics here were are rendered using these lights), you can download the FK_shader_test.wmv movie to get a good impression of that.
This model is NOT rigged for animation but I did make a basic system to help getting started with some quick posing.
