There are two different file formats available:

platform-max.vray.max:
The scene was created with 3D studio MAX 9.0 and the render previews were made with vray 1.5 R3. All the materials and texture files are included. The meshsmooth history still available, so you can change it to benefit your projects. The package contains all the texture images that were used. The UV maps included as well. The materials included too and are available for Vray. The photometric maps (IES parameters) included in the package as well. The rendering setups still on and the model is ready to be rendered.
