This is an EXTREMELY accurate model of a .28 cu.in. scale model engine for use in Radio Controlled Cars, Boats, Airplanes and even as a Goped or Gokart engine (scaled up about 3 times). It can also be used where a 2 Stroke or single cylinder engine is needed as even though this is a small version, it operates exactly on the same principles as a large 2 Stroke engine.
This model includes all internal and auxiliary components needed for the engine to run in real life (100+ parts in total). The size of the preview images does not do this model justice nor does the quick Raytrace rendering (GI rendering is highly recommended for near photo-real results). Fine attention to detail on all the parts means every part looks stunning no matter how close you zoom in and focus on any individual component. This is a model by Professionals for Professional studio use and includes everything you'll need, all you need to do to get the motor to 'RUN' is to key frame the crank rotation over time and the piston and Con-rod will automatically animate and move as they would in real life. This is done using a Trigonometry script, which is much faster and more effective than using shaky IK or FK bone rigs.
This model also includes 37 high quality, near photo-realistic materials ranging from plastic to sponge to chrome and much more. All the shaders are programmed to match the real look of the parts as close as possible without drastically increasing render time and all components have Shader/material ID's for every part that needs more than 1 shader for its various surfaces.
There are 3 color variations for the engine, Grey Cast Block & Black Head, Metallic Red Block & Chrome Head & Matte Black Block and Metallic Green Head.
