3d cob compass maps - Compass... by Deniewe1

This compass has it's needle set to look at an object that can be moved. The top cover axis is set to be opened. The model was completed without the use of textures or materials so there are no UV maps. it doesn't require any additional files and was created using trueSpace.   

For now I made an animation that can be downloaded to see more detail, it pans around 360 degrees the cover opens to see the compass face and the needle then follows the object (object not in frame) around 360 degrees.

The animation has been removed from this object.

The Thumbnails have bee loaded in the new 1200x1200 format for higher detail in the upcoming HD upgrade.

Also as recommended this model has all Intelligent object names added. The compass consists of ring, body, dome, needle, top cover that are glued together and the object the needle will look at.
