I proudly present to you this classical acoustic guitar. Though closely modeled on a real one, it is not an exact replica, so you know you're getting something you can't actually find anywhere else.
Features * Various materials (woods and metals) and textures, for adding optional dirt and dents, are provided, ready to use. * There is a great is a selection of 9 beautiful Duke Luthier rosettes to choose from. * For ease in editing and application, there is no UV mapping of any material or texture. * Of course, you aren't limited to what's provided. You may modify the model components, materials, and textures, or create, and augment the model with, your own. * The model resolution can be adjusted for lower polygon counts by choosing lower sub-surf values for various components, if you wish. * Included is a short but thorough document explaining the model that users of Blender should be able to understand.
The file format of the model is .blend, meaning it is in Blender format. You don't have Blender? Well, it's free and well documented. Get it! Furthermore, you likely can export your desired format (especially if it's a popular one) from Blender. (The model was made in Blender 2.49b. For later editions of Blender, there are a couple easy-to-do modifier settings to make, explained in the document mentioned above.)
Please enjoy this acoustic guitar model. It was lovingly made by hand with a real computer over many months. Yes, months. Not full time, but don't think it's so easy to make one in a short time, and be glad you don't have to make one of your own from scratch if you don't want to!
