If you love Chrome then you'll definitely love this. What better to decorate a home or office workstation than the logo of the popular browser?
This is is a self-assembly 3d-print model with the suggested colors and plastic types shown in the rendered previews. You can place it on a table or mount it on a wall.
I intended this to have white translucent plastic for the sides and top while the colors are produced by colored LEDs. But the same result can probably be obtained by using white LEDs and colored translucent plastic.
I've added holes in the central hub for the wiring. But the size, number of LED lamps, wiring method, and power source (AC or DC) is entirely up to you. You are the handyman!
All previews were rendered with Vray. (Vray scene not included)
- The side panels and top cap are not intended to 'snap' in place like a plastic food container. They are intended to be glued with adhesives.
- If the translucent side panels don't seem to fit all the way, try using sandpaper to scrape off the inner edges.
- The model in this package has a radius of 39cm, which I think is too big for some people. Feel free to resize as necessary.
- I have not yet 3d-printed this model. But I have checked as best as I could that the parts fit as intended. If there are any defects in the model please contact me so I can make this better for everyone.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy my creation!
