Physical Description:
Steel blade with Brass and steel fittings on the wooden hilt. The sheath is also made of wood.

Cultural Description:
The national weapon of the Moros of Sulu, Mindanao, and North Borneo. They have broad, heavy blades about 16' long, about 3' wide in the middle, and curve to both hilt and point on both edge and back. Usually they are single-edged, but occasionally have a back edge for about half their length. They have no gaurds and the pommels are often elaborate and characteristic. Barongs intended for fighting (such as this one) rather than show usually have simpler pommels.
