Introduction high level detail 3D model of Deutsche Bahn Electic Locomotive Model: Arnold DB 111 001-3. This model as over 70 parts in the assembly all hand model from ground up with close to possible information from technical sources, photog referencing and measurement taken on-site with the locomotive DB 111 001-3.
Class 111 is the successor of the Class 110 express Einheitslokomotive. Since demand for fast electric locomotives was high even after production of the 110 ended, the Deutsche Bundesbahn decided to commission a new batch in the 1970s. The bogies were replaced with a different type, significantly improving the locomotive's behaviour at higher speeds. The engineer's workplace also was significantly improved, the DB-Einheitsführerstand, jointly developed by the Bundesbahn-Zentralamt München and Krauss-Maffei and designed under ergonomic aspects, found its first use in the Class 111 and is nowaday used in many DB locomotives and cab cars.
This set also includes a Deutsche Bahn DSG SPEISEWAGEN [DB] model KE-GPR R 63 Series A service between the early late 70s' to late 80s'. This coach is probably operated by a series of DB BR locotmotives fro BR 101, 113, 102, and many others. The KE-GPR R 63A is the second revision of the inter-cit passenger train. This release of the KE-GPR R 63A has side cuts for larger truck turning radius.
