The Agni-4, formally known as 2P Prime intermediate ballistic missile, is the next generation of the Agni-2 series of ballistic missiles. First tested in 2011, the agni intermediate range ballistic missile features the new composite materials which DRDO's R&D are employing into the Agni-V development. The Prime is reported to carry a RV at a range of 2500-3000 km.
