Full 3D model of the MGM Grand building located in Las Vegas including all aspects of the scene as displayed in the rendered images.
Also Includes all textures in .tga format (most are tile-able) at resolutions generally high enough for medium range close-ups. These generally include diffuse and normal maps - There are 26 diffuse maps in total & 7 normal maps for the appropriate materials.
Modelled specifically for Turbosquid with Checkmate in mind, everything has been created with a high level of quality in mind.
All objects have been appropriately named and made to real-world scale using metric units setup.
Scene renders like in the preview images and includes the render setup used - Mental Ray for 3D Studio Max 9.0 with a daylight system and skylight setup.
Each image generally renders in around 10 minutes on a mid to high end laptop with medium render settings (as used in images).
Note that the polygon count of this scene is dramatically lowered by removing the cars and/or palm trees. There are currently 47 cars placed in the scene with poly counts between 2000-3000 (3 different varieties).
Palm trees are 1920 polygons a piece and 83 have been placed throughout the scene.
There are also detailed hedges placed around the outskirts of the building (the long ones are up to 8000 polys) while the smaller sections are 600 polygons. 25 used in total accounts for approx 145,000 polys.
The main MGM Grand building itself including the logos (extruded from splines and triangulated) and frontal tower with advertising billboards accounts for 21350 polygons.
The surrounding buildings have been built fairly basically from reference images and photos of the city block as the main focus is on the MGM Grand building itself. These can easily be removed if required and are generally separated into individual elements.
Much time and effort has been spent getting this to look as nice as possible at an acceptable level of quality with clean wire-frame and topology.
See extra preview image files for higher resolution versions of the wireframe images.
