3d 3ds barrett muzzle rifle break - Barrett Muzzle break by WardVs

Accurate model of a Barrett Muzzle Brake. [Parts of the Barrett rifle (M82a1) itself are also included for use in a close-up scene]

A muzzle break in real life is used to reduce unwanted recoil of the rifle. This is especial useful when rapidly firing .

As with all 3d models, the materials can be changed if you so desire.

There are two .max files included. One with VRay materials (3DS Max VRay plugin required), and another one with ordinary 3ds max materials. Th FBX, 3DS and OBJ files also use ordinary materials.

Also included is a 3DS file whit additional elements of a Barrett rifle (This can be used if you don’t want to buy or model the entire rifle yourself. But don't be fooled, only the elements seen on the images above are included) and a 50 Cal. bullet (you can also buy this bullet as a standalone object).

Initially the Muzzle Break model counts 4908 Polygons and 2472 Vertices
For a smoother result, use the turbosmooth modifier.
2 turbosmooth interactions result in 40128 Polygons and 40218 Vertices.
