The scene was built using vray 2d displacement mod for the waves and 3d displacement mod for the boulder. The displacement in both cases uses procedural bercon noise maps. The uvw mapping can be changed accordingly.
The sea water is a simple plane with a material that interacts with the boulder producing foam. The plane can have any size. The noise maps are animated so you can choose any frame you like. The result produced in the animations is average but the stills give an overal realistic result.
All the settings are open for manipulation such as water material, vray displacements etc.
