The North American P-51 Mustang is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II, the Korean War and other conflicts, originally designed to use the Allison V-1710 engine, which had limited high-altitude performance. The model is a P-51C equipped with the Malcom hood, in the colors of Capt. Clarence 'Bud' Anderson, World War II USAAF triple ace with 363 FS 357 Fighter Group.
