This is a 3D model of an old wooden wine, whiskey, beer or gunpowder barrel. It has been designed for photorealistic rendering, but alternatively it could be used in real-time rendering, games or just general uses in 3D.
Current 3D model is perfectly suitable for placement in any medieval, pirate, industrial, rural or even post-apocalyptic environments and sceneries.
The model contains 2 separate objects: the barrel itself and the iron hoops. The geometry is a polygonal mesh, each part can be subdivided. The model consists of 5 315 faces, 11 382 triangles.
This model has 4 types of unwrapped texture maps for each separate object: albedo map, specular map, normal map, gloss map. All textures are presented in 3 different resolutions: 4096 by 4096, best suitable for photorealistic rendering, 2048 by 2048 and 1024 by 1024, both best suitable for real-time rendering and games. Also, the albedo map for the wooden part of barrel itself has 5 different color variations in all the resolutions above. The color variation renders are included in the preview images or can be found in the 'Albedo Variation Renders' in the texture archive to view the effect of each one before applying. Therefore, the model has 12 texture maps in each resolution, 36 in total.
The original file has been created in Blender 2.77 with basic materials applied.
The product includes Autodesk FBX (.fbx), Collada (.dae), Wavefront OBJ (.obj), 3D Studio (.3ds), Direct X files (.x), all with basic materials applied. Additionally, the product includes Stanford (.ply) and X3D (.x3d) files.
All preview images are rendered with Quixel 3DO.
