This is a rigged model of a silkworm. Great for close up shots.
Originally created in Maya 2014 and textures painted in Photoshop.
This model contains of a single polygon mesh for body.
Product has 6592 polygons with TurboSmooth OFF
Model is mostly quads with very low number of triangles. No ngons.
Product is available in following file formats :
Maya 2014 and Mental Ray (all models have standard Maya shaders). Native file format ready to render.

Also OBJ and FBX file formats (not rigged) are available with embedded textures.
All seen in presentation images are included in files. Models, shaders, lights etc. All named correctly in a clean hierarchy. Preview images are rendered with Arnold. Renders from Mental Ray look similar.
Silkworm is rigged in Maya 2014. It should work correctly on newer versions of Maya as well (tested in Maya 2015 and Maya 2016).
Rig is scalable.
2 4096*4096 textures for body diffuse (.jpg) and body normal map (32bit .exr) .
A free 32bit .exr HDRI for lighting
Units used: X 3.7, Y 3.5, Z 22. You can resize model to your liking using rig`s global.
Scene objects are organized by groups and layers.
Arnold render plugin needed for Maya and Arnold version.
