Background
The Airbus Zephyr is a lightweight solar-powered UAV originally designed and built by the United Kingdom company, QinetiQ, and is now part of the Airbus High Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS) programme.

The Zephyr 7 holds the official endurance record for an unrefueled, unmanned aerial vehicle with its flight from 9 July to 23 July 2010, lasting 336 hours, 22 minutes and 8 seconds. It could also remain airborne for months thanks to its solar cells and rechargeable batteries. Record claims have been verified by the Fdration Aronautique Internationale (FAI) for both duration[4] and altitude, at 21,562 meters. It more than doubled the previous endurance record for unmanned flight.

In a 2008 demonstration for the US military, a smaller-scale version of the Zephyr (Zephyr 6) performed beyond the official world record for the longest-duration unmanned flight, however its 82-hour flight at an altitude of 61,000 ft (19,000 m) did not set an official record because FAI officials were not involved in the flight.[

3D Content
The model comprises of 13,192 triangles (many faces are duplicated and inverted opposed to relying on render both side approaches) and includes the following files as part of the package:

The source 3D Max 2016 file, along with already exported FBX, OBJ, DAE and Openflight Formats are provided as part of this package. The Openflight version is 15.8 and the file has configured flipbook animations for the propellers. A simple two stage additive LOD structure has been provided in place of lower resolution geometry LODs (ie some additional more complex geometry disappears after a certain distance.)

The source Photoshop file is provided with all the independent texture exports types which are appropriately named and structured to allow easy adjustment and re-export by third parties (e.g. Diffuse, Spec, AO etc). The packages also come with the following ready to use texture types:

        Ambient Occlusion 4096 x 1024 pixels (tga)
        Albedo (Diffuse) 4096 x 1024 pixels (tga)
        Diffuse (with merged AO) 4096 x 1024 pixels (rgb)
        Specular 4096 x 1024 pixels (tga and rgb)
        Normal Map 4096 x 1024 pixels (tga and rgb)

All thumbnails were generated from the Marmoset ToolBag real-time rendering application, and as such the Marmoset 2.06 file is also included.
